Description:
Trading support/FIX connectivity specialist in New York for our growing institutional equities trading desk. You will be working on the trading floor handling application support issues related to institutional trading. Responsibilities include coordinating client connectivity, support of our hosted OMS (Fidessa)/ and REDIPlus, and managing users setup/access control for trading applications. The role will involve constant communication and coordination with Fidessa and other FIX vendors on production issues, bug fixes, enhancements, etc.
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience in supporting Equities Order Management and Execution Management systems. Buy or Sell-Side.
• Thorough understanding of FIX networks and electronic order flow on both client and exchange side.
• Experience with supporting Domestic and International Equities business.
• Experience with testing and supporting various equity trading business software.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work in a highly motivated and challenging environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage expectations realistically.
• Candidate must be a self-starter with keen attention to detail and follow up.
• Excellent analytical skills.
Additional Skills (a huge plus but not required):
•Strong project management skills.
•Strong business acumen in electronic trading products including DMA,algorithms,dark pools etc.
•Experience supporting Fidessa and REDIPlus.
•Series #7, #55, #63
